Every evaluation examines two content fields: one of them is constant and the other one is variable.
 
The two fields of quality subject to the expert external evaluation in educational organisations in 2012 to 2014 were:
 
FIELD 1: Internal system for quality assessment and development (constant field)
FIELD 2: Support to participants in their education
 
Since 2015 besides  the mandatory field of Internal system for quality assessment and development the elective fields of Support to participants in their education and Development orientation of adult education organisations are available to the organizations to choose from.

Each field is precisely defined with more detailed quality criteria. The selected educational organisations get acquainted with the detailed criteria and the whole procedure for realising expert external evaluation at the educational seminar prepared by the Slovenian Institute for Adult Education.
