In May we prepared the first meeting for the educational organisations and introduced them to the concept, fields and criteria and the entire procedure of the expert external evaluation.

In September we prepared a seminar for expert educational evaluators, in which the participants familiarised themselves with the innovations and changes in the area of quality in adult education, debated complex cases and the appropriate responses in various stages of evaluation process, discussed the prepared code of ethics for expert external evaluators and tried to define the role that a certificate in expert external expert evaluation should have for participating organizations.

The Slovenian Institute for Adult Education prepared the necessary instruments, documents and guidelines for the realisation of the expert external evaluations. Six expert external evaluators carried out the evaluations together with their SIAE colleagues in three educational organisations between October and December 2013.
Expert external evaluators carried out visits at the Srednja zdravstvena šola Celje and Razvojno izobraževalni center Novo mesto on 22 October 2013.

On
10 December 2013 we organised an
evaluation workshop for all the participating expert external evaluators and representatives of the Srednja zdravstvena šola Celje, Srednja šola za farmacijo, kozmetiko in zdravstvo Ljubljana and Razvojno izobraževalni center Novo mesto, who were included in the expert external evaluations. At the workshop, we debated the experiences of the expert external evaluators and the participating educational organisations in the process of expert external evaluation and formulated joint conclusions for new improvements.
