The counsellor must be honest.

|
The counsellor must present the management of the educational organisation the guidance services she or he can provide, explain how these services can be used, as well as the limitations that this guidance has. The counsellor must not deceive with untrue data and information, by hiding certain information or offering half-services. Should she or he encounter objective limitations, she or he must inform the quality group and the management.
This principle is also important in cases when, in the procedures of quality assessment and development, situations arise that influence the work and position of the person who works as a quality counsellor. In this case as well, the counsellor is bound to honesty in counselling; if the counsellor cannot overcome personal involvement, she or he must inform the quality group and exclude her or himself from this part of the quality assessment or development.
