The counsellor respects the principle of parity/equality and thus does not differentiate in treating different procedures or opinions.

The counsellor respects every colleague, regardless of her or his position within the organisation. As the counsellor is at the same time also employed by the organisation, the most sensitive relationship in this regard is that with his or her superior. The counsellor must establish a relationship with the superior which will clearly state that the authority the superior has regarding other work does not extend to quality. Furthermore, it must be clear that the superior is primarily bound by the agreements set forth by the quality group in the educational organisation.
