The counsellor must respect discreetness and confidentiality and must not breach them under any circumstances.

During the guidance process the counsellor has access to certain data about individuals, and also the insight into good and bad practices that individuals carry out. All these and similar data are confidential and the counsellor must not relate them to a third person or use them for her or his work unrelated to quality, unless specifically permitted. When preparing the evaluation about the level of quality in a certain area that are presented in the working collective or beyond, she or he must be particularly attentive to make sure the data is not of the nature that one could identify a certain person from them. When the nature of data is such, the counsellor must make sure she or he is only available for the affected person, and the person responsible for the quality of the process affected by the data.
