The choice of sources and preparation of tools for quality evaluation

An important step in the preparation of the self-evaluation plan is determining the sources from which the organisation will get its data, information, opinions, points of view and methods (e.g., questionnaires, interviews, benchmarking, focus groups). The organisation prepares instruments for quality assessment (e.g., questionnaires, interview reminders, framework questions for benchmarking, focus groups). 

Educational organisations have the following at their disposal when preparing instruments for quality assessment:

  1. A manual with a CD-rom with a list of questions for quality assessment;

  2. A web-based collection of questions for quality assessment in adult education which enables them to create and fill in questionnaires online.
