An example of forming a mission, vision and values at the Adult Education Centre "Ljudska univerza Jesenice"

Together with the participants we reflect at length during the OQEA project on the basic strategic questions on quality in the educational organisation. Such reflection is a part of the determining quality processes.

The quality group in an educational organisation leads the procedure in which the staff, together with the management, reflect their basic mission, determine or evaluate the existing vision, and discuss the basic values that lead its work.

During this process, the organisation finds the answers to the fundamental questions, for example: "What is our basic mission?", "What are the values that connect us?", or "How do we see ourselves in the future?" and records them as written statements.
