In addition to the projects and other activities that are a part of systematic efforts of the SIAE to develop quality in adult education in Slovenia (for example, the project Offering Quality Education to Adults (OQEA), a network of quality counsellors and a number of others), the SIAE pays special attention to the promotion of quality.

This promotion is conceived as a two-level system of motivational measures or incentives for investing in the quality of adult education:

• On the basic level we introduced the right to use the green OQEA logo: the sign represents an organisation that systematically cares about its quality and the quality of its services in adult education, and is used by all those organisations that have earned the right to use it. 
  
  
• To give recognition to the educational organisations and individuals who particularly excel in systematic care for increasing quality and development in adult education, and also to make these positive examples an incentive and encouragement to others, we give out the SIAE award for quality development in adult education.
