Project Grundtvig 1 - developing quality management with the help of self-evaluation processes

Between 2003 and 2005 we participated in the Grundtvig international project. The work on the project was coordinated by the educational organisation from Finland (Salpaus Further Education), and the most important partners came from Germany (Bilse Institut), Poland (Teacher Training College Torun), Slovenia (the SIAE) and Spain (Dema). The most important goal of the project was to develop the activities of quality management in adult education and the use of the benchmarking method to assess and develop quality in education. Each partner organisation tested the benchmarking method, in Slovenia we carried it out with the Finnish partner. On the basis of the practical experiences with benchmarking, we wrote the Recommendations for the use of benchmarking in educational organisations.
