Peer Review in guidance in adult vocational education and training
|
|
The project that took part from 2011 until 2012 was an extension of a successful project that was carried out in a number of European countries under Austrian leadership. Its main objective was the introduction of the peer review method in assessment and development of quality in education and the expansion of the method into guidance in adult education.
In 2011:
- we organised and conducted the first international meeting of partners; it took place in February in Slovenia;
- we participated in training for peer reviewers in Portugal;
- we coordinated the work of partners in development of professional materials to support the implementation of the peer review method into guidance in adult education;
- we participated at the second meeting of partners that took place in France;
- we carried out a meeting with three ISIO guidance centres that will pilot the peer review method.
In 2012:
- we translated the European training programme for performing peer review into Slovenian;
- we coordinated and monitored the pilot implementation of peer review in the guidance centres;
- we attended the third meeting of partners in Finland;
- we cooperated in preparing expert and dissemination materials on the peer review method;
- we cooperatet in adapting the manual on peer review in guidance activities and translate any potential addenda into Slovenian;
- we also attented the closing conference in Portugal.
One of the results of the project was European Peer Review Manual for Educational and Vocational Guidance for Adults - it is available at https://arhiv-kakovost.acs.si/doc/N-1139-1.pdf.
