Professional principles for quality development in adult education
|
|
With our work, we want to establish the following principles in the development of the system for quality in adult education: - the responsibility of the staff in educational institutions and all other important interest groups in the field of adult education for the quality of the processes, outcomes and effects of the education;
- consideration for the interests and the relative nature of quality throughout the entire process of quality assessment and development in adult education;
- inclusion of internal and external interest groups into the adult education quality assessment and development;
- a clear division between the objective and the goals of internal and external procedures for quality assessment and development in adult education, even when both procedures are combined;
- professional autonomy, and thus voluntary decisions about adopting internal procedures for quality assessment and development in adult education;
- continuous development and a culture of learning;
- social networking as a source of learning between the organisations, teachers and other professionals in the development of education quality;
- transparency of the education processes and outcomes of education;
- process procedures – assessing and connecting outcomes and effects with the processes that lead to them;
- planning and methodological concepts of quality assessment and development processes.
